What is steam carpet cleaning?

Carpet steam cleaning uses hot water extraction (HWE) to thoroughly deep clean carpets down to the base of the fibres up to 1/2-inch deep. Very hot water and cleaning agents are forced into carpet fibers at a pressure of 500-1000 PSI.  This hot pressurised water penetrates deep and dissolves dirt and spots. Then a powerful wet vacuum extracts the dirty water, dirt and debris back out at 10-15 gallons per minute over multiple passes. This high-volume suction thoroughly rinses carpets with fresh 82°C water to eliminate cleaning residues.
